Pipping Tame Impala’s InnerSpeaker to the post, Cloud Control’s debut took top honours at the Australian Music Prize back in 2010. Frustratingly, it’s taken nearly a year for Bliss Release to arrive on our shores, but seeing as Oz is such a long way away and they did personally courier the album into our impatient hands, we’ll let them off. It was well worth the wait too: the Sydney-formed quartet have delivered a veritable banquet of glorious indie-pop, drenched in magnificent harmonies and shimmering guitars.
