Just when we thought our shell-likes were safe, here come Alison and Derek with their sophomore onslaught. According to the press release for the aptly-titled Reign of Terror, the Brooklyn noise-pop duo commandeered a “reverberation room” to produce “the sonic equivalent of a beautiful shotgun to the head”. The jury’s still out about the lethal effects of long-term listening but, on first impressions, being slayed by these Bells would be a pretty sweet way to go.
