New Wave legend Joe Jackson's 'Rain' LP continues his extremely active recording career well into its fourth decade. This release also features the original Joe Jackson Band in accompaniment, having previously had successes with the classic singles 'Is She Really Going Out With Him' and 'Steppin' Out'. Musically, the same pop sensibility pervades, with much melancholic humour and observational asides aplenty. Having relocated to Berlin, Jackson recorded and produced the album himself. 'Rain' is coupled with a bonus DVD featuring extensive live footage and interviews.
