Simian Mobile Disco

Simian Mobile Disco is a splinter group of the U.K. electroclash outfit Simian. The duo of James Anthony Shaw and James Ellis Ford made a name for themselves in the early 2000s offering inventive remixes of tracks by the hippest bands of the moment. The duo's propulsive, minimalist, and highly catchy take on that sound made them almost overnight sensations. They've lent their ace production skills to albums by, among others, Dizzee Rascal, the Klaxons, and superstar British indie punkers the Arctic Monkeys. The band released their debut, ATTACK DECAY SUSTAIN RELEASE, in 2007.
