Fresh from his collaboration with Dizzee Rascal, Amand Van Helden is storming back into the charts, this time teaming up with NY based DJ, A-Trak, to form one of the most talked about collaborations of the year, Duck Sauce. This catchy number sounds like a classic disco-house track, but with plenty of trademark Van Helden basslines and some slick production it belongs firmly in 2009. The funky vocals and basslines ensure this upbeat number has got future house anthem written all over it.

Having been used by top labels such as Renaissance, Freerange and Fingerlickin, Rekids are the latest imprint to adopt the Focus On title for their new mix release. Designed to showcase the label’s output there’s no doubt here what direction the label is going in and they’ve enlisted the deck skills of disco-house don Toby Tobias to help them along. Cosmic, nu-disco sweeps and sounds mixed with techier cuts from the likes of Michael Cleis and Spencer Parker. Smiles on faces all round.
