For pop fans across the UK, it doesn’t get much bigger than the BRITs. This year’s ceremony was as lavish as ever and featured live performances from some of the biggest names of the past 12 months, including Muse and Mumford & Sons, comeback kings Justin Timberlake and Robbie Williams, and teen choices One Direction and Taylor Swift. Sadly, Taylor resisted dedicating ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’ to Harry.

Of course, the smart money was always on Emeli Sandé to win ‘Best Female Solo Artist’ and ‘Best British Album’, but nobody predicted that singer-songwriter Ben Howard would match her haul, picking up awards for ‘British Breakthrough Act’ and ‘Best Male Solo Artist’. Elsewhere, 7digital favourite Frank Ocean scooped the prize for ‘Best International Male’ and One Direction were awarded the inaugural ‘Global Success’ award.

  With just over a week to go ‘til the results are revealed, here’s the official compilation of the BRIT Awards 2013. Alongside not one but two contributions from award frontrunner Emeli Sandé, the album includes tracks by International Female nominees Rihanna and Lana Del Rey, International Male nominees Frank Ocean and Gotye, plus a plethora of British talent, including Mumford & Sons, Plan B, Jessie Ware and Critics’ Choice winner Tom Odell. We could continue to read you the tracklist but a) it’s three discs long and b) we’ve probably all got better things to do, haven’t we?
