7digital appoints Paul Langworthy as Chief Operating Officer

London, UK, September 30 2015 – 7digital, a leading global digital music and radio platform, today announced the appointment of Paul Langworthy as Chief Operating Officer. Previously 7digital’s VP Operations, Paul is promoted with immediate effect and will assume responsibility for organising the business to meet its strategic goals and objectives.

Paul joined 7digital in April 2013 and has become a driving force in the company’s operations. Initially managing the company’s content supply chain, he later took leadership of 7digital’s Client Operations teams. Paul also oversees operations within the Production businesses that became part of 7digital Group plc following the 2014 merger with UBC Media.

With 15 years of experience in digital and content operations, Paul has worked across all aspects of the digital supply chain including metadata, rights, scheduling, asset management and distribution. Prior to 7digital, Paul oversaw Content Operations at digital TV service YouView. He also spent over nine years with Universal Music Group within the label’s International Digital Supply Chain Management division.
